Here is a post on how I make banana pudding. I’ve always loved banana pudding, but honestly I haven’t really made it until this past year. My husband always said he didn’t care for it. However, I just had to try my hand at this delicious classic, so I have come up with a simple recipe that I love and now he absolutely loves it too! In fact everyone who can have dairy in our house is crazy about it!
Ingredients:
- 1 11oz. box of Nabisco Vanilla Wafers
- 7-10 sliced bananas
- 1 4.6oz. of Cook and Serve vanilla pudding mix (and milk to cook)
- 1 pint of heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 14oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional, if you’re out like I often am, it’s not a biggie)
Directions:
1. Cook pudding according to directions on box. When done, set aside to cool, you can refrigerate and stir often to speed up this process.

2. Once your pudding is cooled off, you can make your whipped cream. I make a homemade whipped cream, this is easier than it seems. Pour your heavy whipping cream into your mixing bowl with 1/4 cup powdered sugar and mix on med-high until it is a slightly thick consistency. (You can also add a tsp. of vanilla if you have it on hand.)

3. Next, take your cooled pudding and pour your sweetened condensed milk into it and stir.
4. After that, fold about 3/4 of your whipped cream into your pudding mixture, saving some for your top layer.
5. Slice your bananas and you’re ready to begin assembling your pudding.

6. First, place a layer of wafers down in a casserole dish or pan of your choice, then layer with bananas and 1/3 pudding mixture and repeat. It doesn’t entirely matter your order, just make sure to save the extra whipped cream for last.

7. Finish with remaining whipped cream and decorate how you wish. I take the remaining wafers and crush them on top.

Yummy Amanda
Thanks for your recipe!

This looks Amazing, my Gma use to make this all the time. I’ve made it a few times but never thought about added the heavy cream. Looks yummy!
